To see the page with all the names of the strings being used on the site, rather than the content of the strings themselves, add ?uselang=debug to the end of the URL:

http://www.dreamwidth.org/site/?uselang=debug

This is useful for checking whether a page is English-stripped. If any English text appears on the site, rather than a reference to a string name, it means that the page hasn't been fully stripped yet. (This is also useful in figuring out where that particular text on the page is coming from, so you can track it down in the translation system, as anything that will save you a few extra minutes of dealing with the translation system will likely result in you losing fewer sanity points.)
