Some discussion in IRC yielded support for the idea of a full-journal backup that could be queued like how mass-privatizing entries are now; possibility of not only export but import to other DW-based sites.

Some additional means of verifying the user's identity might be helpful, or a way to undo this within a certain amount of time, or perhaps all entries should have to be made private first and then all private entries could be deleted?
