This tutorial assumes you’ve already followed the Dreamhack Getting Started guide to change your password and set up your Dreamhack environment.

Cyberduck is a libre server and cloud storage browser for Mac and Windows. It allows you to see and access the files in your Dreamhack server without using command lines.

Setting Up

Add a Bookmark

Under the Action gear, select "New Bookmark". This can also be accessed by the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + B on Windows or CMD + Shift + B on Mac.

Under the first drop down menu, select SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol)

In the form, fill out the following information:

Nickname: Give your bookmark a memorable nickname.

Server: ssh-hack.dreamwidth.net

Port: 22

Username: dh-(Your username)

Password: (Your password)


There is no confirmation button. Simply hit the red X button to close the window and save your changes.
