FAQ - Link text
How do I change the wording of links in my journal?
Choose the text tab of the Customize wizard.
This will give you a list of the links in your journal style that you can change. The list is divided into sections that are collapsed by default. Section headers include links to expand each section, or you can use the "expand all" link. The Navigation section covers the menu of links to other pages in your journal, and the Entry section covers links for actions on individual entries. Some journal styles may have other sections as well.
Enter the name you want to use in the appropriate text box. Dreamwidth provides defaults if you don't enter custom text.
Some link text includes numbers, such as the number of comments on an entry. Wherever you want a number to appear in your link text, use the # symbol. You can also choose a different text for a single comment or several comments. For example, if you want your comment links to say "1 shining star" when there is one comment, or "3 constellations" when there are several, enter the following in the Link text to read comments text box: 1 shining star // # constellations
Note that if you change your journal style, all your link texts will be reset to default.
